WELCOME TO HOLY TRINITY ORTHODOX CHURCH !

The Orthodox Church is the original Church of Christ, founded by Jesus Christ, and developed by the Apostles and their successors under the guidance and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The worship of the Orthodox Church is ancient and traditional, yet truly timeless, relevant to our daily lives and "ever new." The Orthodox way of life is traditional yet progressive, and the Orthodox outlook transcends terms like "conservative" and "liberal." Our focus is on Christ, as He reveals Himself in the Bible (both Old and New Testaments), in the writings of the Fathers of the Church, and in the Sacraments. We define the word "Church" as both the People of God, and the BODY OF CHRIST, of which we, the people, are the members. Our aim is to live our lives in, with, and through Christ. Simply put, salvation is LIFE IN CHRIST, to be found both in this world, and in the next.

The parish of Holy Trinity Church in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, was founded in 1914 by immigrants primarily from the Bukowinian area of Ukraine / Romania. Currently we are a small community of both 'cradle' Orthodox--descendents of the parish's original founders--and converts to the Faith. We are truly multi-ethnic, with members claiming descent from several areas of both Eastern and Western Europe. As we face a crossroad in our parish's history we define ourselves very strongly as a missionary church. We welcome all who wish to come and worship with us, and are developing several areas of outreach, including Adult Education and a "Seeker's Forum."

All services are in English.

The best way to learn more about the Orthodox Faith is to experience its
worship. Join us for Saturday evening Vespers, or Divine Liturgy on
Sunday mornings. It may well be the start of a spiritual journey for
you from which you will never look back!
